How do these prank calls work?
When you call our prank phone lines, you are asked to enter the victims phone number
and pick your windup from our list.
Once you have selected one of our wind ups and entered the victims phone number they receive a joke phone call which you can listen in to.
How long the crank call lasts will depend on the prank you pick and how gullible your victim is.
How convincing are the windups?
Very! Most people never suspect they will receive a windup phone call. Most of our callers find these jokes so funny they go on to make several calls.
Even they suspect they will not know for sure if its a crank call or genuine.
Our calls use actors(no one famous) to make the prank calls even more believable.

When is the best time to make a prank call?
Anytime! Really depends on the windup you pick, some joke calls will work better in the daytime others at night.
April fools day(April 1st) is a superb to give someone a prank attack, its our busiest time of the year.
Where did you get the idea for thes joke calls?
Inspired by American pranksters like the jerky boys, phone losers of America, ebaums world, and Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills.
Knowing that not everyone is able to make their own prank calls and the time it takes to master a soundboard we decided to create an easy to use windup service.
Are these prank phone calls legal?
Yes! As a telecom provider we have to operate under strict UK laws.
Will the victim know it's me?
No! The victim will not who is calling (if the service is used to harass or make nuisance calls then BT can trace the call) These pranks are supposed to be fun.
How much will the crank phone call cost?
Calls are charged at £1.50 minute to landlines, mobile charges may vary. The average call will last 2-4 minutes.
How long do the crank calls last?
Calls last as long as you want them to, the call is finished when either you or the victim hang-up.
UK only, what is UK?
We've had a few emails asking what UK stands for(lol!) United Kingdom, the small island across the channel from France, home to the British and a large number of refuges who come here because they've heard of our great sense of humour.
Who is that speaking?
We use professional actors for our wind ups - you'll be surprised how low actors will stoop to make a few pounds.
How good are the windups?
Only you can be the judge of that, however 90% of our callers go on to make several more joke calls.
